As a final-year PhD researcher, my academic work explores memoir as a genre and writing as a reflective and healing practice. My research focuses on life writing, trauma studies, and the use of second-person narrative as a literary and psychological device.

My lightning paper was accepted for presentation at the Joint LAI/CILIP Ireland Conference. Although I was unable to attend due to illness, I was honoured to have my work selected for the programme.

My piece on hidden heritage was shortlisted for the Christy Nolan Creative Writing Competition.

As part of Disability Awareness Week, I was proud to have my work included in the ‘Art for Action’ Student Exhibition. My piece was a visual poster designed with the hard of hearing in mind, featuring hand signs from Irish Sign Language spelling out the word “Inclusivity.”
